The Jagdhütte is located in the Zillertal (Austria/Tyrol) at the end of the Stilluptal, surrounded by numerous waterfalls, a unique variety of wild plants and a wild mountain landscape. With the exception of a 50m walk, it can be reached by car and is the starting point for many hiking routes. Below the small hunting hut is the managed Grüne Wand Hütte with an excellent kitchen for day guests. If you don't want to cook for yourself, you can have a really good breakfast here and enjoy traditional cold and warm Tyrolean dishes.
This is where the high-alpine Zillertaler Höhenweg begins and the valley offers many other hiking opportunities....

Our house is suitable for:
Friends/families up to 5 guests
There is a living room with TV and a bathroom with shower and hair dryer. Upstairs is a bedroom with 2 double beds 180 x 200cm, 1 single bed for 5 people and 2 emergency beds downstairs in the living room. They are only 180cm long, so emergency storage.
It has a small eat-in kitchen with a wood-burning stove, cold-water sink, but also an electric 2-flame cooker, coffee machine, kettle and everything a kitchen needs.
We have a packet of coffee, filter bags, coffee creamer, sugar, spices, 1 bottle for each guest. red wine and 1 fl. white wine in the house. In the hut there are enough cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaner, toilet paper, kitchen roll and garbage bags.
On the large terrace there is a large table and 1 bench, plus 6 chairs, 2 sun loungers and a parasol. Perfect for an invigorating breakfast at the fresh mountain air or counting the numerous stars in the night sky with a glass of wine in the evening.
The house has its own hydroelectric power plant and if the dry season is too long, the electricity can occasionally go out at night. We provide firewood free of charge.
WiFi is possible to a limited extent. But it can be extremely relaxing not to be constantly connected to the entire outside world.
We CANNOT allow dogs, as the grazing cattle, sheep and goats with their young animals come up to the hut and it is not completely fenced in.

Getting there:
The house is ready for occupancy from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier or later, please let us know.
Departure:
We ask that you check out by 11 a.m.
(flexible depending on booking situation and by arrangement!)
Dogs:
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed here.
Bedding:
Bed linen and towels are ready!
Wifi:
Unfortunately there is no WiFi in the hunting lodge
Kitchen:
A small kitchen with charcoal stove, electric two-plate stove, coffee filter machine, kettle, toaster, blender, blender, as well as complete eating and cooking utensils.
